Co-owners/Producers

Bumper

Bumper is a non-binary genderqueer Leather penguin who is an active member of the kink community. They are a retired Bootblack, top, switch, and cigar lover. Bumper is a leader in the community, co-founder of MX Virginia Leather Contest, co-owner/producer of Bootblack Round Up, and committed their title year as Mid-Atlantic Leatherwoman Bootblack 2018 to educate the community about Bootblacking. They are passionate about serving, helping out, and preserving the community's history.

John

John was born in Pittsburgh, PA, where he began exploring leather/BDSM in his 20's. He currently resides in Baltimore with his husband. John embraces strict protocols, good manners, and proper etiquette and strives to lead by example. He is also proud of his naughty and playful nature. John participates in fundraisers and leather events nationwide and mentors other leatherboys and Bootblacks. He is "Mamas True Leatherboy," the Atlantic States Leather Community Bootblack 2017 and International Community Bootblack 2017, and co-owner/producer of the Bootblack RoundUp.

Rik "Hooker" Newton-Treadway

Rik Newton-Treadway is a dedicated activist, educator, HIV survivor, and event producer with over 50 years of community service. Known as “Hooker,” he lives in Baltimore with his husband of 25 years, Paulie, and their poly family.


Rik has held titles such as Miss Go West 1983, Mr. Maryland Leather 2009, and Maryland Mr. Drummer 1999, and has judged numerous contests. He is an Honorary King and Queen of Baltimore Pride. He created the Mid-Atlantic Leather Woman contest, co-founded the Mid-Atlantic Leather Woman Bootblack Contest and International Community Bootblack. He served as Maryland State Commander for the Sons of the American Legion from 1994 to 1995. He curates the Carter Johnson Leather Library’s Mid-Atlantic Annex. He attended his first Pride activities in 1978-79 and founded the Gay Youth of Central Maryland in 1979. He has played a significant role in Baltimore Pride, including co-producing the Queen and King Pageants and leading the Lady Lisa Drag and Performance Stage.


He is also a founding member of Hooker & Boys/ Hell & Back Ministries, a Levi/Leather club dedicated to service and support.

Ox Treadway

 Ox is a leatherboy, working dog, and unapologetic gear hound from Fairbanks, Alaska. Owned and collared by Master Hooker, he has been in the Leather and kink community since 2009, earning his place through sweat, scars, and service. He is the founder of FBX-PAH (Fairbanks Pups and Handlers), the driving force behind The Drone Zone Alaska, and a full member of Hell & Back Ministries.


Ox is recognized for forging and sustaining a strong rubber, gear, and pup community in interior Alaska while driving connections to the broader Leather world. Known for his resilience and heavy edge, when Ox shows up, the work gets done, the gear gets dirty, and the play gets real.


His dedication has earned him recognition as Alaska State Bootblack 2016 and winner of the Shine Off at Bootblack RoundUp 2023, along with a reputation for being the dog you want in your corner when the work is rough or the night runs long. Whether he’s organizing, volunteering, or taking a beating with a grin, Ox makes sure Leather spaces stay sharp, authentic, and alive.
