2025 Bootblack Round Up Presenters

Bootblack Skyfire (he/him) is a member of the Buffalo Bulldogs M.C. and an unruly pack of Pup Scouts in Western NY. He bootblacks monthly at his home bar, 26 Allen in Buffalo, NY; regularly across NY State as well as PA, OH, and Ontario, CA; and at events such as IMsLBB and IML. Serving as a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence sparked his desire to serve quirky, kinky queer people. Specifically, he has a passion for resurrecting old leather, creating gear for diverse body types, and  educating the next generation of bootblacks. He's an aspiring rigger, loves leather boots of all flavors, chubby bears of all ages, cigar-play, beards, and epic mustaches. If he had a signature fragrance, it would be cigars and Obenauf's boot oil.

Shaan Lashun (he/they) finds much joy at the intersection of Black queer feminism and Leather culture. Active in Leather and fetish communities since 2016, his story as bootblack began under the dim lights of a DC gay bar. In the years since, his “thing for boots” has led to many adventures at conferences, festivals, and more dimly lit gay bars around the world. Currently, Shaan serves the community-at-large as the organizer behind Virtual Bootblack Jam and as the bootblack coordinator for International Ms. Leather & Bootblack.   

“Outside” the kink community, Shaan has worked with the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference, NYC Department of Health, the US Conference on AIDS, Grindr, and other spaces to improve conditions for other sex workers, kinksters, and trans people of color.  

Daisy Blue (They/Them) is a seasoned Bootblack and Leatherperson dedicated to preserving and sharing the art and tradition of bootblacking and Leather culture through community care, education, and mentorship. With a decade of experience across the U.S., Daisy’s most treasured experiences are stories and history shared during their work at the chair. They currently calls Nashville home and volunteer with The Mark by CPI as the House Bootblack Team Manager and Captain of Nashville Hot Leather - a Leather Special Insterest Group. Outside of community, Daisy has a love for art, mlm smut romance books, and a cold Dr. Pepper.
