C.L. Burke
Burke is the butchest boy in Hell and Back Ministries. She is a second-generation leather in the Baltimore community, where she is also a penguin, a HellHound, an old dog, and a service-oriented human being. Burke considers herself a shoeshine on some days and a bootblack on others. She entered her bootblack journey saying she “would never do none of that technical stuff”. Then, she ended that illusion upon becoming the resident bootblack for the Carter/Johnson Library and Collection - Mid-Atlantic Annex in Baltimore. Burke proudly flags AARP on the right and seeks to be humiliated well and often. Cougars need only apply. Burke Out.
Finn Gerhardt
Finn is a non-binary leatherperson hailing from the backwoods of Charles County, Maryland. They fell in love with leather and suede from an early age, learning to clean and shine shoes from their mother as a kid. Finn is a vintage clothing enthusiast, and most of their bootblacking is done at their kitchen table on dusty, crusty pieces from thrift stores and attics. They grew up to become a licensed esthetician in two states, so whether its person or critter, if its skin, Finn is all in. Community-wise, Finn served as Mx. Maryland Leather 2023 and placed 6th at International Mr. Leather in 2023, and currently serves as co-Vice President of COMMAND MC.
Leslie J. Anderson
Leslie Anderson is a Bootblack, an artist, an educator, a Historian, and has been a Leather Kinkster for over 30 years. They have held a few titles, including International Ms Bootblack 1999, and American Leatherwoman 1997. Since 2018, Leslie has been the Curator and Leather preservation Specialist at the Leather Archives and Museum. My job is to connect objects with stories that teach our history. I make it personal because that is what is legacy.
Margaret Irene
Margaret Irene, like many people, began somewhere else and has found a home in the Mid-Atlantic community. She is a lifelong member of FIST (Baltimore/DC) and an associate member of C.O.M.M.A.N.D. MC. She currently lives in Harrisburg, PA with her wife, Lynn; her partner, Sebastian; and their pack of puppies (all canine). Having served her community as Southeast Bootblack 2009 and 2010, Margaret now supports her community through volunteerism. She has been a titleholder, judge, tally master, stage manager, workshop presenter, board member, gopher, and many other things.
Monster
Monster has been a bootblack since they came into the kink community almost 10 years ago. They Love Leather and all that it encompasses. She co-leads Hampton Roads Bootblacks. Their goal is to have a stand and kit that welcomes any and all that come upon her stand.
Pup Otto
Pup Otto (he/him) is a bratty pup collared to Sir Hooker. A Baltimore native, a bootblack, a pup. He is service oriented both for his Sir and for his community. He is a technical bootblack that strives to make leathers look as good as the person wearing them. He works on leathers, rubber, sneakers, and more!!! A current and past co-producer of the 12 Days of Christmas, a bootblack that worked Mid-Atlantic Leather 2024, New Jersey Leather 2024, and many local events. Otto believes that to learn from others should be paid back by teaching another. He looks forward to teaching this year at Bootblack Round-Up 2024!
boy Ox Treadway
Boy Ox a.k.a Working Dog "Trouble" is owned and collared by Master Hooker. This U.S. Army Veteran and Florida native currently hails from Fairbanks, Alaska. He is the founder of FBX-PAH "Fairbanks Pups and Handlers", The Drone Zone Alaska, a member of Hell & Back Ministries, and follows his dog instincts by digging in the dirt as a geoscientist. Ox has been in the community since 2009 and primarily identifies as a working dog, slave, rubber/gear fetishist and leatherboy. In 2016 he won the title of Alaska State Bootblack and in 2023 he won the BBRU Shine Off. He would like to welcome you to BBRU 2024.. Rubber is his his main fetish interest and he is excited to share the knowledge he has gained from many years of squeaking around in a catsuit. He is a passionate advocate and educator for kink safety and healthier sex in the local gay and veteran community; and has represented the kink and leather community as a panelist and advisor for events in Alaska and in the Lower 48.
PandaPet
Panda (it/they) is a pansexual, polyamorous pet with a penchant for the use of alliteration. It has been a longstanding member of the New England and DC/NoVa communities, and has taught for a fair number of hypnosis and kink conferences. A tireless volunteer, it has also worked behind the scenes on educational programming at a handful of kink conventions for the past fourteen (14) years. It co-founded the kink education server CONsolation and kink education business Pandastory with its Master HypnoStory, and is branching out into kink/sex work and one-on-one coaching. Unashamedly itself in all things, it is an advocate for the darklings, pets, ageplayers, neurodivergent, and queerdos of our community.
ShadowMe
Shadow (she/fae) is dreamer, and adventurer, and a fool. This femme bootblack from the Detroit area is MzRhythm's wife, slave, and scribe, among other identities, all of which inform faer approach to education. Shadow teaches from the bottom end and believes that well-educated bottoms lead to a safer community as a whole. Meanwhile, Shadow bootblacks from a place of service, as fae see this practice as a way to care for community members and serve as a keeper of memories shared at the stand.

SpankCake (she/her) is an Asian American service-oriented Leather babygirl from Los Angeles and is the current International Ms. Bootblack. With over 12 years of experience as a submissive in the BDSM lifestyle, she's deeply connected to power exchange, enjoying sensation, impact, and edge play.
In addition, SpankCake is the Executive Director of bootblack.org, a non-profit organization that provides support, education, and advocacy for bootblacks. She has written for various organizations, including the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom.
